Crew topples Cambridge!

Boston, MA: November 4th 2007

St. Catherine's (Oxford), Crew Team made their first appearance at the Head of the Charles in Boston, MA. Additionally, St. Catherine's (Cambridge), also made their first appearance in this historic rowing venue on the Charles River. The two teams me a continent away for this inaugural event.

Early in the heat, Cambridge appeared to have some trouble synergy, while Oxford cut the morning fog with precision at the line and synergy which maintained up to two boat lengths fo the duration of the race. Oxford finished the 1200 meter race at 8:10:54, placing before Cambridge by 1:01:09.

Team Captains Robbe Smith and Chad Brower of Oxford noted that this event should set the precedence for the future matches.
